What we collect
- Your shop domain and the API access token Shopify issues to us.
- Scan results: theme file paths where leftover app code was found, which app signature matched, and the liveness-probe status of third-party script domains.
What we never collect
Nothing about your customers — no orders, no names, no emails, no addresses, no analytics. This app reads your theme files and nothing else.
Theme safety
Scanning is read-only. Cleanup, when enabled, is only ever applied to a duplicate of your theme that you preview and publish yourself — we never modify your live theme.
Data sharing
We never sell or share your data. Liveness probes contact third-party script domains found in your theme, but send no information about your store beyond the request itself.
Data retention and deletion
All of your shop's data is deleted immediately when you uninstall the app (on Shopify's app/uninstalled webhook), and again upon the GDPR shop/redact webhook. We practice what we preach: this app leaves nothing behind.
